Hi, Everybody! I am a PPASEL and moved to Brazil last September. I
am teaching English, and have two classes of pilots and ATC guys. We
have exhausted the books I brought with me, and I could sure use some
student pilot texts (tapes or CDs also would be great!), anything
dealing with communicating with ATC, homebuilding or homebuilts, or
aviation in general. I would really like a couple copies of 'Stick
and Rudder'. (A student stole the copy I brought with me!)
Even copies of last month's aviation magazines would be great! Av
mags here, in English, cost anywhere from $14 to $30. Yes, DOLLARS!!

I don't THINK this will help, but I'll mention it anyway - just in case.

I have a couple of hundred aviation magazines sitting in bundles waiting
for the recycle pickup this Friday morning. AOPA, Plane and Pilot,
Flying, Private Pilot - all 1988 <--> 1999. I strongly suspect they
would cost more to ship than they are worth, but then again, aviation
hasn't changed much in the last few decades.

Wish I would have seen this in advance- i was just down there last
week - I could have packed up a whole suitcase full and brought em
down.
